The unequal impact of inflation

Ahead of the Spring Statement tomorrow, it's important to recognise that inflation doesn't impact everyone equally. Overall CPI is now raging at 5.5%, but the figure is actually higher (and has been since 2006) for the bottom 10% of incomes. The Chancellor particularly needs to focus his firepower on those who need it most.
